Dream Job

During the month of January, I will be posting (tentatively) one post every day as part of the #bloganuary challenge
Today’s Prompt: What was your dream job as a child?

Hmmmmm! I’m not sure. I remember wanting to be an astronaut at some point. A doctor too. But I think as I got older it was pretty clear to me that what I really wanted to do was to travel. So my “dream” job was to be an international correspondent or a photographer for National Geographic. Something that made me travel for a living. I graduated in Journalism, but halfway through the course, I knew that was not what I wanted to do and the whole international correspondent thing was as easy as becoming a Hollywood star. I finished it anyway because by then I already had the immigration process in mind and the Bachelor’s diploma would give me a lot of points. Dropping out would only make the whole plan take a lot longer.

I ended up in tech and even though my work does not make me travel ALL the time (only 2 or 3 weeks a year which is already awesome) it allows me to travel wherever and whenever I want, so I guess this is even better.
