Today’s Prompt: Write about something that makes you feel strong.
Why are all these questions always so subjective? I’m not a subjective person. I like straightforward questions. Strong how? Physically strong? If so, Kung fu, for sure. Actually, Kung Fu and Tai Chi. All the years practicing martial arts made me feel stronger, not only physically, but mentally too, and to be honest, even though I haven’t done it in a while, I still feel the positive effects of it in my body and my head.
The first thing I wanna do when this pandemic is truly over is to go back to practicing Kung Fu.
If we are talking about what makes me mentally strong, it’s (this is gonna sound cheesy) the love and support I have. All the support from my family, my amazing friends, colleagues, co-workers. It’s knowing I can count on people because it does not matter how independent you are, we are not islands. So being able to provide support to the people I love and know they have my back is what makes me strong.
PS: The cover image is completely unrelated to the subject because I could not find any good Kung Fu pics I took hahahaha
