Today’s Prompt: Who is your favourite author and why?

Oh.PLEASE.STOP.WITH.THE.FAVOURITE.THING!

But ok, if I have to pick ONE it would be Tolkien. I read his books more times than I can count. I love the way he writes. I love how he came up with the whole lore, a whole universe, all the details, the languages. I love it all.
